Motor Balancing
An unbalanced motor can cause vibration and premature bearing destruction, ultimately leading to motor failure and lost business. With our two balancing systems Keener can service your equipment in our shop or in the field.
Dyne Balancer — This machine uses a belt system to rotate the motor, allowing us to measure and reduce vibration levels to meet or exceed industry standards. It can balance multiple items, with the exception of those that cannot be balanced together and those that cannot drive themselves.
PRUFTECHNIK VIBXPERT II — Our portable system allows us to monitor vibration on equipment that is too large to transport to our shop, such as exhaust fans, oxidizer fans, dust collector fans, forced draft (FD) fans, inducted draft (ID) fans, hammer mills, grinders and spindle hands.
